Deep Tissue Massage 2 looks at current research that validates therapeutic massage´s underlying physiologic mechanisms and the concept of why massage works.
Students will examine the causes of pain and how to deal with conditions which are associated with muscular dysfunction. The treatment of common back and neck conditions will be examined with a focus on specific massage sequences to the neck, interscapular and lower back regions.
