Course Structure

Established in 1994, the Australian College of Massage has been providing recognised massage training for 15 years. And, with over 30 training centres around the country, ACM is the largest provider of Government Accredited massage training in Australia.

ACM provides the following 2 Government Accredited and
Centrelink Approved massage qualifications:

Qualification 1

Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice / Subjects 1 – 8

3 months Fast Track Program available Australia-wide
12 months Centrelink Approved for eligible applicants

Qualification 2

Diploma of Remedial Massage / Subjects 9 - 16 (Includes Certificate IV)

9 months Fast Track Program available Australia-wide
2 years Centrelink Approved for eligible applicants

You will receive a comprehensive study pack for each subject incorporating everything to facilitate succesful, independent, self-paced learning. Learning resources include detailed photographic manuals, textbooks, DVDs and CDs.

ON-CAMPUS Study Option

Studying on-campus enables you to attend classes for all the practical components of the course as well as attending the required Massage Practice Sessions. When studying on-campus you are provided with a class timetable listing the dates when your attendance is required.

DISTANCE EDUCATION Study Option

Studying by distance education enables you to study at your own pace and you are not governed by a fixed timetable. You are only required to attend class when undertaking a Massage Practice Session.

Flexible Study Options

You have 2 study options to choose from - on-campus (classroom learning) or distance education (home study learning). Both options are exactly the same in both content and assessment. You will receive identical accreditation at the end of your training irrespective of the option you choose. Your decision will be based on your own needs and preferences, as well as your individual circumstances.
